J. Scott Walters recently retired after a long and successful career as a Criminal Investigator with the United States Government. He has 30 years of experience investigating criminal cases all over the world. After he retired from public service, he started Eagle Six Group, LLC, a premier investigative agency, in order to use his experience and expertise to help people in the private sector. Mr. Walters began his investigative career after he graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice. He then joined the United States Army and was assigned to the Military Police Corps. He investigated traffic accidents, DUI’s and other crimes committed on the military base. During his time in the military he was able to complete his studies at Jacksonville State University and was awarded a Master’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
Mr. Walters was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1988 and was immediately hired by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). He attended the DEA Basic Agent Course at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Academy in Quantico, Virginia and graduated with the title of DEA Special Agent. After beginning his criminal investigator career with DEA in Atlanta, Georgia, he was transferred to Jackson, Mississippi where in 1991 he was awarded of Officer of the Year for successfully investigating and dismantling the largest cocaine conspiracy in the Southern District of Mississippi.
During his time in Mississippi, Mr. Walters was selected to join “Operation Snowcap,” the largest counter narcotics operation that had been launched in Latin America. After being trained by the U.S. Army Rangers and attending Spanish language school, he joined an elite team of DEA agents and was deployed to the jungles of South America. There he investigated members of the cocaine cartels, located jungle cocaine laboratories and destroyed them.
Mr. Walters has been assigned to Gainesville, Florida, Ponce, Puerto Rico and Miami, Florida. During his 30 year career, he has investigated all types of crimes. While the majority of his time was spent investigating narcotics crimes, these cases lead into homicides, real estate fraud, marriage fraud, insurance fraud, credit card fraud etc. He has also completed numerous courses to include surveillance, drug identification, complex conspiracy, financial crime analyst, evidence custodian etc.
Mr. Walters is a member of the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI) and the Association of Former Federal Narcotics Agents (AFFNA), which provides Eagle Six Group, LLC with a network of professional investigators across the United States and the world.
Gary J. Moore
Gary Moore retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after serving proudly for more than 30 years. During his distinguished career in the FBI, Gary conducted investigations of federal violations of law as promulgated by United States statues. During the last 15 years of his tenure, he was detailed in part to the United States Presidential Joint Terrorism Task Force working as Case Agent of an Undercover Terrorism project with ties to the 9/11 investigation . His duties included review of Financial Institutions Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), interview of witnesses, coordination with the United States Attorney Office for possible prosecution of terrorism subjects, surveillances, undercover meetings, and miscellaneous top secret reports to the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Headquarters located in Washington, DC. Gary was also was tasked to White Collar, drug, and violent crime squads during his career. From 1999 through 2004 Gary was the Special Agent In-Charge of the Key West Resident Agency handling all aspect of the FBl’s criminal and civil jurisdiction.
Mr. Moore was awarded Special Agent of the Year by the United States Attorney’s Office for outstanding investigation in a Terrorism matter in 2002 and also received 20 letters of commendation from FBI Directors and other law enforcement officials.
Mr. Moore graduated from Valdosta State College, Valdosta, Georgia where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a Major in Accounting. Prior to joining the FBI, Mr. Moore was an accountant for Deltona Corporation in, Miami, Florida and an In Charge Auditor for Blue Cross/Blue Shield where he was in charge of audit assignments relating to Medicare financial records of all Home Health Agencies located in the South Florida region. His duties included audit of financial records, preparation of audit work papers, management advisory letters, and miscellaneous government reports.
In October 2014, Mr. Moore became a licensed private investigator in the State of Florida, license number C 1400416, and joined Eagle Six Group. Mr. Moore brings an extensive array of investigative skills to include asset investigations, corporate investigations, due diligence, surveillance and many more. In 2014, Mr. Moore attended the Hewlett Packard Anti-Counterfeiting Program and achieved the status of Product Expert which provides the competent designation of being certified to determine counterfeit ink and toner cartridges from genuine Hewlett Packard products.
